These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Velo website and, where applicable, the Velo iOS app ("Velo," "the app," "we," "us," or "our"). Velo is provided by Huegge LLC.
By accessing the Velo website or using the Velo app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Velo.
App Store Terms
If you download Velo through the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's App Store terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, unless Huegge LLC provides a separate custom license agreement through Apple.
These Terms are intended to supplement those Apple terms where applicable. If these Terms conflict with Apple's applicable terms for the app, Apple's terms will control to the extent of the conflict.
About Velo
Velo is a unit conversion app designed to help users compare and convert values across supported categories, such as timezone, distance, temperature, weight, speed, volume, area, and currency.
Velo is provided for general informational and everyday utility purposes. It is not intended for professional, financial, medical, engineering, safety-critical, legal, or other high-risk decisions where an incorrect conversion, unavailable feature, or delayed data source could cause harm or loss.
Accounts
Velo does not require you to create an account to use the app.
You are responsible for any activity that occurs through your device, Apple account, or other services you use in connection with Velo.
Purchases and Pro Access
Velo may offer paid features, subscriptions, lifetime purchases, or other in-app purchases ("Pro access"). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
We may use RevenueCat or similar services to validate purchases, manage entitlements, and restore access. Access to Pro features may depend on Apple purchase records, RevenueCat entitlement status, and app functionality operating as intended.
Currency Conversion
Velo may provide currency conversion using exchange-rate data from third-party sources, including the Frankfurter API.
Currency rates may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, rounded, approximate, or different from rates offered by banks, payment networks, exchanges, card issuers, or financial institutions. Velo's currency conversion features are provided for general reference only and should not be relied on for financial, trading, tax, accounting, legal, or other professional decisions.
You are responsible for verifying exchange rates before making purchases, transfers, trades, reimbursements, reports, or other financial decisions.
Accuracy of Conversions
We work to make Velo useful, accurate, and reliable, but we do not guarantee that every conversion, value, rate, calculation, label, display, or feature will always be accurate, current, complete, or available.
You are responsible for verifying important values before relying on them, especially in professional, safety-critical, financial, medical, legal, engineering, construction, travel, or other high-impact contexts.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use Velo for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, copy, modify, resell, or exploit Velo except where allowed by law
Attempt to bypass purchase, subscription, entitlement, security, or access controls
Scrape, overload, attack, or interfere with the Velo website, app, or related services
Use Velo in a way that violates Apple's terms, third-party service terms, or applicable law
Intellectual Property
Velo, including its name, design, interface, software, copy, graphics, branding, and other content, is owned by Huegge LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not give you ownership of Velo or any Velo intellectual property. You may use Velo only as permitted by these Terms, Apple's applicable terms, and applicable law.
Third-Party Services
Velo may rely on third-party services to provide certain functionality, such as App Store purchases, entitlement management, website hosting, and currency exchange-rate data.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, data sources, outages, errors, policies, or changes.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with Velo and the Velo website. By using Velo, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to Velo
We may update, improve, modify, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of Velo at any time. Features, supported modes, units, currencies, Pro functionality, data sources, pricing, and availability may change over time.
Accessibility
We want Velo and the Velo website to be usable by as many people as possible. If you experience an accessibility issue, please contact us so we can review the issue and work toward a practical solution.

No Warranties
Velo is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Huegge LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Huegge LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, inaccurate conversions, unavailable services, delayed currency data, purchase issues handled by Apple, or other losses arising from or related to your use of Velo.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Huegge LLC's total liability for any claim related to Velo will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Huegge LLC for Velo in the 12 months before the claim or $10.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits on liability, so some of the above limits may not apply to you.
Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Huegge LLC from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of Velo, violation of these Terms, violation of applicable law, or infringement of another person's rights.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of Velo after the updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
