Velo ("Velo," "the app," "we," "us," or "our") is provided by Huegge LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Velo iOS app and the Velo website.
Velo is designed to work without an account and with minimal data collection.
Information We Collect
Velo does not require you to create an account. The app does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or social profile.
The app may store information locally on your device so it can remember your preferences and previous setup. This may include selected modes, selected units or cities, reordered rows, saved row lists, current values, reset preferences, appearance settings, purchase status, and other app preferences.
Local app data is used to provide app functionality and personalize your experience. We do not receive this local app data unless you choose to send it to us, such as in a support request.
Purchases and Pro Access
If you make an in-app purchase or restore purchases, Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase and entitlement information needed to complete the transaction, validate receipts, manage Pro access, and restore access.
This may include purchase history, subscription or entitlement status, receipt information, product identifiers, transaction information, and anonymous or app-specific user identifiers.
We do not receive your Apple ID, full payment card number, or App Store account password.
Currency Conversion
Velo uses the Frankfurter API to retrieve currency exchange-rate data. Frankfurter states that its API does not collect personal data. The public Frankfurter service runs behind Cloudflare for performance, and Cloudflare may collect basic information for analytics, such as technical information associated with API requests.
Website Data
When you visit the Velo website, basic technical information may be processed by our website hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and request times. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the website.
How We Use Information
We use information only to:
Provide and improve Velo
Save local app preferences and state
Manage purchases and Pro access
Restore purchases
Provide currency conversion if included
Respond to support requests
Operate and secure the website
Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Third-Party Services
Velo may use third-party services, including:
Apple, for App Store purchases, TestFlight distribution, platform services, and device-level functionality
RevenueCat, for purchase validation, entitlement management, and restore-purchase functionality
Frankfurter API, for exchange-rate data
These services process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Data Retention
Local app data remains on your device until you change it, reset it, or delete the app.
Purchase and entitlement records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to provide purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.
Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request and maintain appropriate business records.

You can delete Velo from your device at any time. You can also manage app permissions, subscriptions, purchases, and device-level privacy controls through your iPhone settings and Apple account settings.
